History

Glotman•Simpson, one of British Columbia’s leading engineering firms, has been providing innovative structural engineering solutions and unparalleled client services since 1964. For the past 45 years, we have provided quality, cost conscious structural engineering consulting services for more than 4,000 projects in the areas of institutional, commercial, residential, industrial and seismic upgrade projects. We also provide post-tensioned investigations, building evaluations, structural restorations, litigation support, and have been involved in the structural design of more than 150,000 parking stalls.

Initially established as a three person consulting firm dedicated to personal and professional services, we now retain a staff of over 35 engineers and technicians. Through several strategic acquisitions we have acquired additional expertise in failure and insurance claim investigation, timber technology, and communication site design. The overall result is a firm with a new and greater depth of experience, ability, and resources that enable us to provide our clients with a wider range of services and capabilities.
